Project Overview

KingCraft Builders partnered with Donato & Co., a well-known Berkeley restaurant recognized for its refined yet welcoming dining experience, to deliver a comprehensive construction and millwork project. The scope extended beyond finishes in this one; it encompasses structural construction, custom woodwork, and select frontage improvements. The goal: to create a cohesive space that reflects the restaurant’s elevated but accessible atmosphere.

Scope of Work

This project included full-scope construction work across the structure, detailed custom woodwork throughout the interior, and partial improvements to the restaurant’s exterior frontage. We completed structural and general construction elements to support the layout and functionality of the space, while also fabricating and installing custom wood features such as bar finishes, shelving, seating, and interior millwork. Exterior frontage work was carried out to enhance the building’s presence and identity.

Delivering both structural construction and finish-level craftsmanship requires coordination and precision at every phase. We ensured that the foundational construction work and detailed woodwork complemented each other seamlessly.
